MILLERSVILLE, PA (06/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Adriana Roth, of Ephrata, Pa., has been selected to receive the Dr. Dominick J. & Frances McAndrew Fanani Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Roth will attend Millersville this fall and will major in fine arts. She completed a college preparatory program including several courses at the honors and Advanced Placement level while enrolled at Ephrata High School. Roth was also involved in numerous theatre productions, German Club, National Honors Society, her church youth group and as a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters/Pathfinder.
The Dr. Dominick J. & Frances McAndrew Fanani Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student based on high school academic performance, while maintaining a strong record of high moral character demonstrated by community service and volunteerism. It is a renewable award, for an additional three years, as long as the recipient maintains good academic standing, in the amount of $3,932 per year, with half of the amount credited to each of the first two semesters' bills.
