Adrienne Kirsch Fraser Darling Receives Distinguished Ursula Laurus Citation from The College of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, NY (06/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Adrienne Kirsch Fraser Darling of Alexandria, VA, a graduate of The College of New Rochelle (CNR), was awarded the Ursula Laurus Citation at the College's 73RD annual Alumnae/i College Weekend in June. The Ursula Laurus Citation is given to honor CNR alumnae/i and friends who have provided outstanding leadership and have demonstrated by their capabilities, efforts and interest their selfless and generous devotion to furthering the high ideals and rich traditions of Ursuline education. The Citation was presented by Dr. Stephen J. Sweeny, president of the College.
The first Catholic college for women in New York State, The College of New Rochelle was founded in 1904 by the Ursuline Order. Today, it comprises the all-women School of Arts & Sciences, and three schools which admit women and men: the School of New Resources (for adult learners), the School of Nursing and the Graduate School.
