ST. LOUIS, MO (02/10/2010)(readMedia)-- Maryville University will host Aeneas Williams, former Rams football player, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 16, in the University Auditorium. Williams will speak about service and leadership.
His appearance, which is free and open to the public, is part of Random Acts of Kindness Week at Maryville University. An accomplished and powerful public speaker, Williams currently serves as a church minister with a congregation at Spirit of the Lord Family Church in Clayton, Mo., while remaining involved with countless area outreach programs and charities.
Williams ended his successful football career after the 2004 season. He achieved four first-team All-Pro selections and two second-team All-Pro selections from the Associated Press. During his career, Williams accumulated a staggering 12 defensive touchdowns (9 interceptions returned for a touchdown, and 3 fumbles recovered for touchdowns) as well as 55 career interceptions, thereby securing his place as one of the NFL's most dominating defensive backs in its history.
Following his presentation, Williams will be available to sign autographs and chat with fans.
