ANNVILLE, PA (01/19/2011)(readMedia)-- Three Lebanon Valley College men will perform as Against the Grain on Feb. 2 at 9:30 p.m. at MJ's Coffeehouse in Annville. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
Against the Grain formed in the fall of 2008 with roommates Bryn Duffield '11 of Wyalusing on rhythm guitar and Mark Bowne '11 of Blossburg on drums. Ben Guiles '12 of Columbia on lead guitar later joined the band.
Against the Grain will play a set of original compositions including Angel From Hell, Regret, Change Your Mind, and Picking up the Pieces, and cover Addicted by Saving Abel, Plush by Stone Temple Pilots, and Broken by Seether. The band is self-described as having groovy material, with a mix of dark, energetic, and ballad-like music.
