Air National Guard Senior Master Sgt. Edward Holub, South Glens Falls Resident, Receives Award

LATHAM, NY (03/13/2014)(readMedia)-- New York Air National Guard Senior Master Sgt. Edward Holub, a South Glens Falls resident, has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Holub was recognized for his work as a personnel manager in New York Air National Guard headquarters in Latham. During his two years in that position he managed the enlisted and officer strength programs for the almost 6,000 members of the New York Air National Guard who are stationed at six major locations.
In addition to those duties, Holub served played a key role in tracking New York Air National Guard manpower in the National Guard Joint Operations Center during state emergencies.
Holub is now serving as New York Air Guard Assistant Inspector General Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge.
The Meritorious Service Medal is presented to members of the United States Armed Forces who distinguished themselves by outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the United States.
