ALBANY, NY (05/27/2022) (readMedia)-- Today the last supplies will be moved out of the JC Club with the sale taking place this week.
For the last 20 years the JC Club ran a feeding program that fed inner city children helped with homework and ran a summer feeding program that delivered lunches to City parks throughout Albany.
Last year the program had to stop because of the gun violence with bullets going into the building. With the most murders then any other location the church had to stop operations. With Camera's installed and numerous complaints to the city nothing was done to stop the violence on this street. No choice but the club had to move.
Already another murder on Quail and summer is not even here yet.
The Church will be doing Mobil events for the children and continue doing gun buyback events.
June 4th will be the first gun buy back at 118 Quail St from 10 to 2 on Saturday.
