Albany Wow Jam to Be Held Sunday, August 2nd at 3:00 p.m.

ALBANY, NY (07/30/2009)(readMedia)-- Wow Jam, Inc., with founders Stephen and Linda Tavani from Pasadena, CA are holding a Wow Jam Event this Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Lincoln Park, in conjunction with Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Church, John D'Antonio of The Albany Recreation Department, Pastor Keith Davies of New Hope Church Dove Street, Pastor Alfred Sanlyns of Reigning Life Ministries, Pastor Mike Brennen of Shepherd's House Ministries, Pastor Dan Rushing of New Beginnings Fellowship and additional support from Grace Fellowship and Light of the World Church. Wow Jam agrees to come to cities where churches and cities work together to support the event.

This event drew 1500 people to Livingston Park last year. This year's event is being held at Livingston Park to accommodate the large crowd. The event is totally free with thousands of dollars worth of prizes given away including: four flat-screen TVs, six bicycles, dish sets, basketballs and footballs, boom boxes and more! Free haircuts, family portraits, a rock wall, two bouncy-bounces, will also be held. All food, drinks and snow cones are also provided at no cost. The highlight will be a performance by Peaches of Peaches & Herb.
