Alex Angermeier Receives Final Convocation Award at Hampden-Sydney College

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (05/09/2013)(readMedia)-- At Final Convocation on April 25, Hampden-Sydney College senior William Alexander Angermeier received the Hardy Cross Award in Physics, presented by Dr. Walter C. McDermott III, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy. This award honors a distinguished alumnus and is given to recognize outstanding scholastic achievement in physics.

Alex is a member of the professional scientific fraternity Alpha Chi Sigma. A physics and applied mathematics major, Alex graduated from Falls Church High School and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ralph G. Angermeier of Annandale.
