HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (04/18/2013)(readMedia)-- On Thursday, April 18, Hampden-Sydney College senior Alexander Chase Cartwright presented his Senior Fellowship Project in a public lecture at the College. Alex is one of a select group of seniors who undertook an extended, interdisciplinary research project which culminated in a public presentation. Alex's project, for Honors in Economics and Mathematics, was entitled "Honor Outside the Shadow of The Law: The Honor Code as Efficient Enforcement."
A Madison Scholar, Alex serves as Chairman of the Student Court, as President of the Union-Philanthropic Society, as Opinion Editor for the student newspaper, The Hampden-Sydney Tiger, and as Vice President for Hampden-Sydney Students for Liberty.
