CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/30/2014)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce Alexander Stinton '14 of Wittman, MD recently read some of his work at the Washington College Senior Reading. Stinton read three poems: "Somewhere on the Eastern Shore," "A Mother Remembers," and "Snapshots of Arizona."

Stinton is majoring in English with a minor in creative writing. On campus he is a member of the English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
