BATAVIA, NY (12/22/2016)(readMedia)-- GCC women's soccer head coach Jeff Reyngoudt recently announced the signing of Attica High School forward Allison Becker, adding to the incoming freshman class of 2017.

Becker, a North Java resident, was a Genesee Region All-Star at AHS under head coach Ryan Wood. She joins a Genesee group that may return up to 14 from last season's team and a growing freshman class that has already seen two forwards sign.

Becker is undecided on her major at GCC.

Genesee played to a 12-6 record in 2016, including a trip to the Region III quarterfinals. The Cougars were ranked as high as No. 3 in the NJCAA National Poll, which they were a part of four seven consecutive weeks.

Genesee Community College athletics program endeavors to provide a quality and competitive intercollegiate athletics program consistent with the National Junior Collegiate Athletics Association (NJCAA) philosophy and the overall educational mission of Genesee Community College.
