ST. LOUIS, MO (10/05/2012)(readMedia)-- Missouri Baptist University recognizes volleyball setter Ally Krus as the Spartan Athlete of the Week after her impressive play helped the Spartans extend their undefeated season to 20-0. This week, Krus averaged 11 assists per game, totaling 149 in four matches, but her best match came against William Woods on Tuesday when she totaled six kills and 61 assists in five sets.

Krus is a freshman from St. Louis, Mo., who graduated from Lindbergh High School and is majoring in elementary education.

MBU is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and has received the distinction of being an NAIA Champions of Character institution for the past 10 years. The Spartans compete in the American Midwest Conference.
