Allyson Graffum of Ipswich wins leadership award at Elms College
CHICOPEE, MA (05/18/2010)(readMedia)-- Allyson Graffum of Ipswich, Massachusetts, was awarded the Cheryl R. Condon Leadership Award at Elms College at Honors Convocation earlier this month. The award honors a female student who has completed at least four semesters at Elms with a minimum grade point average of 2.67, and demonstrates leadership and integrity both on and off the Elms College campus.
Graffum graduated from Elms College May 16 with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. Graffum played second base on the Elms softball team, and was named to the All-New England Collegiate Conference second team. She batted .343 with 35 hits, 18 runs batted in, and was 5 for 5 in stolen bases.
