Nicholas Cordeiro of Berkeley Receives Accounting Award at Elms College

CHICOPEE, MA (05/20/2010)(readMedia)-- Nicholas Cordeiro of Berkeley, Massachusetts, received the William Donovan Accounting Alumni Award at Elms College's annual Honors Convocation. The award was created to honor Associate Professor of Accounting William Donovan for his outstanding dedication to his students and his commitment to understanding the economic, cultural, social, and business attributes of globalization.

The award's intention is to honor a full-time junior accounting major who exhibits not only exceptional academic excellence, but true leadership both inside and outside the classroom. To be considered for this award, nominees must submit a personal essay, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and show evidence of leadership.

Cordeiro, an accounting major, will begin his senior year at Elms in September.
