Alpha Chi Omegas at William Woods University Celebrate Day of Service

Members of Alpha Chi Omega at William Woods University celebrated Hera Day with a day of community service at CARDV (Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence) and Garrett Animal Shelter. Hera, guardian of women, is the patron goddess of the sorority. On March 1 of each year, in honor of Hera, Alpha Chi Omegas nationwide dedicate themselves to aid the happiness and well-being of others. Members recognize the fraternity's commitment to helping others by conducting service projects, which usually include volunteering and fundraising for domestic violence shelters in local communities. Domestic violence awareness is Alpha Chi Omega's national philanthropy.
