Alvernia students volunteer summer break in West Virginia
Alvernia students spent a week of the 2019 summer break volunteering at the Bethlehem Farm in Alderson, West Virginia, through the university's Alternative Break program.
Students experienced living simply in a prayer community while learning about sustainable practices and working on different projects such as home repair and gardening.
