Amy Gibson Recognized as Outstanding Sophomore at WWU

FULTON, MO (06/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Amy Gibson of Kirksville, Mo., received a Student Alumni Council Outstanding Sophomore Award at William Woods University's recent co-curricular honors banquet.
The Outstanding Student Awards are the only awards at William Woods University bestowed on students by the nomination and vote of other students. Nominees must demonstrate academic achievement, campus and community involvement and leadership.
Gibson serves as new member educator for Chi Omega sorority, the sophomore class president of Student Alumni Council and as a University Ambassador. She is also a member of Hands Up Club, Peer Mentors and Alpha Chi honorary society.
She is a regular volunteer at the Missouri Children's Hospital and has volunteered at the Missouri Credit Union Miracles of Kids Radiothon, all while maintaining a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
