LOCK HAVEN, PA (05/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Lock Haven University's annual women's athletics dinner celebrates the achievements of the past year and the successes of women athletes at The Haven. The 2011 ceremony, held on May 3 in the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center, brought together coaches and team members from women's basketball, cross-country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, track and field, volleyball and wrestling
The Scholar Athlete Awards recognize the student athletes with the highest GPAs. The junior Scholar Athlete Award was presented to soccer player Amy Wittman of Delmont, Pa. She has a 3.777 GPA. The senior Scholar Athlete Award was presented to field hockey player Talitha Jay of Myerstown, Pa. She has a 3.990 GPA.
