South Camden Theatre Company Will Host a Fundraising Gala at Waterfront Theatre in Camden New Jersey May 5, 2011

CAMDEN, NJ (04/11/2011)(readMedia)-- South Camden Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Camden, New Jersey is hosting a fundraising gala on May 5, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The fundraising event will include an evening of, poetry reading and a scene from our production of Eugene O'Neill's "A Moon for the Misbegotten" The evening is highlighted by the unveiling of a new painting by renowned artist Brother Mickey O'Neill McGrath which will be installed permanently in the lobby at Waterfront South Theatre. Tickets are $25 and the events will take place at Waterfront South Theatre at 400 Jasper Street in Camden's Waterfront South Arts District. The festivities for the evening will include the following:

• "The Hound of Heaven" the poem that had an inspirational effect on Eugene O'Neill performed by Father Michael Doyle.

• Letters from Dorothy Day, read by Robert Ellsberg

• A scene from Eugene O'Neill's "A Moon for the Misbegotten" on stage at Waterfront South Theatre

• The unveiling: Brother Mickey O'Neill McGrath will speak about his latest work as it is hung in the lobby of Waterfront South Theatre
