Andover Native Courtney Fregeau Honored with MIAC All-Conference

SAINT PAUL, MN (06/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Bethel University sophomore Courtney Fregeau from Andover, Minn., was honored with a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) All-Conference title. At a track and field meet hosted by Concordia College (Moorhead, Minn.), Courtney teamed up with three other Royals for two relays. In the 4x100, they notched a season best, a school year record, and a second place finish with a time of 47.78 seconds. The 4x400 was the last event of the meet and the team placed fourth (3:55.50). Both relay teams are ranked in the top 30 in Division III.

Fregeau had an individual success with a second place finish in the 400-meter dash, only .01 seconds away from taking first (57.41). Her time broke a seven-year-old school record in that event.
