FRONT ROYAL , VA (08/31/2011)(readMedia)-- Andrew Criminski has been appointed to the student leadership organization of cadre within the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) at Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA). He is the son of Scott Criminski and Charmain Wardley of Oak Hill, VA and Therese Criminski of San Diego, CA. "Drew", a junior at R-MA, received the rank of Master Sergeant and the position of Band Squadron First Sergeant. Only students with records of strong academics and leadership abilities are eligible for the Academy's cadet officer and non-commissioned officer ranks.
Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA), founded in 1892, is a college-preparatory, coeducational boarding school for students in grades 6 through 12. Students in grades 9-12 participate in R-MA's 91st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), which is currently recognized as a Distinguished Unit with Merit. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a unique flight program. R-MA is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and is located in Front Royal, VA.
