Andrew Fuglestad of Moorhead chosen as Program Director of the Year for the St. Olaf College Volunteer Network

Student honored at Outstanding Leadership Awards Program

NORTHFIELD, MN (04/28/2014)(readMedia)-- Andrew Fuglestad '14 of Moorhead was recognized as a "Program Director of the Year" at the recent Outstanding Leadership Awards Program at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He and fellow directors Eric Lander and Tou Sue Thao were chosen for their leadership of the Ole Spring Relief organization. Students participating in Ole Spring Relief travel across the country to provide disaster relief to communities in need.

This award was given through the St. Olaf Volunteer Network. The Volunteer Network currently supports 31 volunteer organizations on campus. So far this year, these student-led organizations have logged a total of 19,456 volunteer hours.

Fuglestad is a graduate of Moorhead Senior High School and the son of Paul and Wendy Fuglestad.
