MILLERSVILLE, PA (05/05/2011)(readMedia)-- Angela M. Di Ascro of Mifflinburg, Pa. has been selected to receive the Joseph A. and Linda Ryan Caputo Award in Chemistry.
Di Ascro will attend Millersville this fall and will major in chemistry. She completed several Honors and Advanced Placement classes at Mifflinburg High School. Di Ascro was a member of the National Honor Society and was a member of the French Club. She was also involved with technical theater activities and was selected to be a part of Building Leaders of the Susquehanna Valley, a program designed to educate young adults the qualities possessed by good leaders.
The Caputo Award in Chemistry is a non-renewable award in the amount of $2,336, with one-half of the award, $1,168 being credited to each of the first two semester's bills.
