Angelica Tilllander Elected to Omicron Delta Kappa at Washington and Lee University

LEXINGTON, VA (05/07/2013)(readMedia)-- Angelica Tillander of Mount Prospect, Ill, a junior at Washington and Lee University, has been elected to membership in Omicron Delta Kappa at Washington and Lee University.

Tillander was "tapped" during ceremonies at the opening assembly of Washington and Lee's 2013 Reunion Weekend.

An American history and politics major, she is a Quest Scholar and a DuPont Equal Opportunity Grant recipient. She is a Bonner Scholar, co-chair and founding member of W&L College Access and a member of the Campus Kitchen leadership team. In 2011, Tillander served a Shepherd Alliance internship at Commonwealth Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services. She is a Burish Intern at Natural Bridge Elementary School and a kindergarten reader for Waddell Elementary School. She is president of Students Tutoring around Rockbridge and W&L Senior Citizen Outreach founder and co-leader.

Founded at Washington and Lee in 1914, Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes superior leadership among students in various aspects of campus and community life.
