Angelo State's Barnhill Named Softball All-American

Courtney Barnhill of Lubbock, a junior outfielder on the Angelo State University Rambelles softball team, has been named to the 2019 NCAA Division II All-America third team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

Barnhill lead the Belles in batting average (.396), hits (67), walks (31), doubles (17), home runs (12), RBIs (56), runs scored (54), on-base percentage (.495), slugging percentage (.722) and stolen bases (24). She led the Lone Star Conference in hits and doubles, as well as ranking second in RBIs, third in runs scored, fourth in walks and stolen bases, and sixth in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage. She was also named to the All-LSC first team, won a LSC Gold Glove Award in the outfield, and was named first-team All-South Central Region.
