Anne Bransford of Boerne Receives Leadership Award from Southwestern University

GEORGETOWN, TX (04/10/2014)(readMedia)-- Anne Bransford of Boerne recently received the 2014 Junior Leadership Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The award was presented at the university's 16th Annual Student Leadership Banquet April 3.

Award recipients are nominated by students and faculty members and are then sent a list of questions to answer, including their personal philosophy of leadership. The winners are chosen by members of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society.

Bransford is majoring in history at Southwestern and is involved with Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Student Foundation, Omicron Delta Kappa and the Garden Club. She also is a Peer Academic Mentor and tutors for Upward Bound and the Debby Ellis Writing Center. She is the daughter of Pamela and Dale Bransford.

At the same ceremony, Grace Atkins of Boerne received the leadership award given to a first-year student.
