Golf More, Pay Less and Support Lung Health
ALBANY, NY (04/16/2008)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association’s 2008 Golf Privilege Book is now available for purchase. This year’s Golf Privilege Book is putting golfers on the right course with over 100 golf courses and driving ranges located throughout Central and Western New York, as well as Western Pennsylvania and Southern Ontario, Canada.
For the past 26 years the American Lung Association of New York State has produced the Golf Privilege Book - full of coupons for free, reduced or discounted offers from participating golf courses, golf driving ranges, winter sports centers and vendors.
Proceeds from the sale directly fund local programs and services, including asthma and tobacco education, research on lung disease and grassroots advocacy on air quality issues.
By purchasing a Golf Privilege Book, golfers can save hundreds of dollars on the upcoming season and help a great cause at the same time. All offers are valid for six months starting May 1. The books are only $40 each, and can be ordered on the American Lung Association’s website at www.alanys.org, purchased at any local Delta Sonic Car Wash locations, or by calling the American Lung Association at 1-800-LUNG-USA.
