Anthony Wiederkehr from Arlington (Wash.) Receives Alumni Association Award

GENESEO, NY (04/30/2010)(readMedia)-- Anthony (Tony) Wiederkehr from Arlington, Wash. (98223), founding president and chief executive officer of AeroMech Inc., has received this year's Professional Achievement Award from the alumni association at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Wiederkehr is a 1987 graduate of the college.
AeroMech, Inc., based in Everett, Wash., specializes in aircraft engineering and design and certification services, aero-performance analyses, avionics kits and onsite aircraft modification services.
"We celebrate your professional accomplishments and applaud your commitment to this special college," said Mark Cronin, president of the Geneseo Alumni Association.
Wiederkehr received a bachelor's degree in physics at Geneseo and in aeronautical engineering from Ohio State University through Geneseo's five-year, 3-2 program. He also earned a master's degree in computational fluid dynamics from the University of Washington.
He played on the men's basketball team at Geneseo and is a board member of the college's Roundtable Athletic Association.
