Appleton Resident Receives Scholarship to Mount Mary University

MILWAUKEE, WI (02/10/2014)(readMedia)-- (MILWAUKEE ) Rachel Reichardt, daughter of Kevin and Jane Reichardt, Appleton, has been awarded the Caroline Scholarship by Mount Mary University for the 2014-2015 school year.

Rachel, a 2014 graduate of Appleton East High School, will be a freshman at Mount Mary this fall studying fashion merchandising and business administration.

"We're delighted Rachel has selected Mount Mary University to pursue her dream of earning a college degree," Eileen Schwalbach, Ph.D., president of Mount Mary University. "We awarded Rachel a scholarship based on her application, achievements, and outstanding potential. Rachel is an exceptional woman who is focused on her education, has strong leadership skills and believes in Mount Mary's mission of social justice."

Mount Mary University, founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, was Wisconsin's first four-year, degree-granting Catholic institution for women. Located on an 80-acre campus in Milwaukee, the University offers more than 30 undergraduate majors for women and eight graduate programs for women and men.
