MILTON , MA (11/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce Ashland, MA resident Cristina Sacchi, daughter of Liz and John Sacchi, has been appointed to the Curry Theatre Student Supervisory Board. A 2011 graduate of Ashland High School, she worked behind the scenes there, in Midsummer Night's Dream, Skin of You Teeth, and Anything Goes. This busy Psychology major is currently assistant stage managing the Curry Theatre production of Alan Ayckbourn's comedy, Woman in Mind.
Knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1997, Sir Alan Ayckbourn is the most widely produced playwright in England, second only to William Shakespeare. His darkly humorous Woman in Mind sees the action of the play through Susan's eyes, as her mundane reality collides with her active fantasy life. Is it a dream turned to nightmare, or a this witty and imaginative woman, driven to distraction by her pompous and self-absorbed husband, her adenoidal son, and dour, and disturbed sister-in-law? Between gasps and guffaws, audience members must decide for themselves.
This wildly unpredictable comedy tumbles across the stage on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday; Dec 1st through 4th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
