NEW LONDON, CT (12/17/2012)(readMedia)-- Genevieve Harding, a senior at Connecticut College, played the cello in the Connecticut College Orchestra winter concert on Dec. 6.
Harding is a 2009 graduate of Ashland High School.
The orchestra performed Hindemith's holiday-themed "Tuttifäntchen Suite;" Saint-Saëns's "Carnival of the Animals," with music department piano faculty Kumi Ogano and Patrice Newman and narration by College President President Leo I. Higdon Jr.; and Schumann's towering Fourth Symphony. Mark Seto, assistant professor of music, conducted.
