Association Leadership Academy Communications Session

TROY, NY (10/09/2007)(readMedia)-- “Communications and Marketing” is the second class of the Empire State Society of Association Executives’ (ESSAE’s) 2007-2008 eight-session Association Leadership Academy (ALA).

The session will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the WMHT Facility in Troy, NY. Ronald S. Kermani, senior vice president for communications, New York State Higher Education Services Corporation is the instructor.

Session content will cover building membership loyalty and action with effective communication and strategies for taking your message to a broader audience.

The Academy, now in its third year, comprises eight courses scheduled through May 2008 that will offer discussions on real-world issues, best practices and innovative solutions featuring leading members of the association and academic communities as faculty. Session topics include: Human Resource Management; Advocacy, Politics and Grass Roots Campaigns; and the Development of a Leadership Style.
