Association Leadership Academy Meetings & Conventions Session

TROY, NY (12/28/2007)(readMedia)-- “Meeting Member Needs and Expectations for Conventions, Trade Shows, Education and Training” is the fourth class of the Empire State Society of Association Executives’ (ESSAE’s) 2007-2008 eight-session Association Leadership Academy (ALA).

The session will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the New York State School Boards Association in Latham, NY. Seth Kahan, organizational community specialist noted in the association profession is the instructor.

The Academy, now in its third year, comprises eight courses scheduled through May 2008 that will offer discussions on real-world issues, best practices and innovative solutions featuring leading members of the association and academic communities as faculty. Session topics include: Human Resource Management; Advocacy, Politics and Grass Roots Campaigns; and the Development of a Leadership Style.
