Aurora University student Jack Bechaud of Marengo named chamber's Volunteer of the Year

AURORA, IL (03/22/2012)(readMedia)-- Marengo resident Jack Bechaud, a business administration student in the adult degree-completion program at Aurora University-Woodstock Center, has been named the 2011 Volunteer of the Year and appointed to the Board of Directors by the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce.

Bechaud manages the chamber's Facebook presence through The Social (Net) Worker, a social media consulting firm he founded in 2011. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteer work, cooking and anything involving technology. He lives with his wife and two horses in Marengo.

For 67 years, the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Industry has acted as an advocate for the business community, providing programs and services to ensure a favorable business climate in addition to acting as a vehicle to promote the area's economic and social progress.
