Austin native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Matthew Morriss of Austin, Tex. recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. His presentation was titled "Ancient Rivers in Eastern Washington: A Study of the 15-Million-Year-Old Clearwater-Salmon River."
Morriss, the son of James and Cindy Morriss, is a graduate of St. Stephen's Episcopal School. He is currently a junior geology major at Whitman.
The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
