Scotts Valley native Alyssa Roberg receives awards upon graduation from Whitman College

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Alyssa Roberg of Scotts Valley, Calif. was honored with two awards upon her graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Roberg was selected as a recipient of the Genevieve Rasmussen Service Award. This award is given annually to a female student who has given consistent unrewarded service to the college. Roberg also earned the Mignon Borleske Athletic Trophy for Women, which is given to one outstanding senior female athlete each year.

Roberg is a 2009 graduate of Santa Cruz High School. She received a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in education during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
