ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (08/15/2011)(readMedia)-- Internationally recognized management consultant, author, and leading edge thinker Jeanne C. Meister will present the first breakfast seminar of the S. Dale High Center for Family Business's 2011-12 series on Thursday, September 22.
Entitled the "The 2020 Workplace: How Innovative Companies Attract, Develop and Keep Tomorrow's Employees Today," Meister is the co-author of a book by the same name.
Industry experts have predicted that the battle for workplace talent is expected to become fierce in the next decade. Meister's book has been cited as a must-read for executives who expect to maximize productivity and have a strong enterprise in 2020. It received praise from Fast Company's founding editor William C. Taylor for being a pragmatic and visionary book that can equip you "with the tools to attract the best people and help them do their best work."
Her presentation will offer a practical game plan to attract and keep talented employees and in doing so, transform their organizations and achieve compelling results such as increased innovation, improved customer service, and an enhanced ability to compete in a global marketplace.

Meister's seminar begins at 8:15 a.m. and includes breakfast (beginning at 7:30 a.m.) It will be held in the Susquehanna Room of Myer Hall on the Elizabethtown College Campus.
