WVIAC Pitcher of the Week Autumn Appleby

ELKINS, WV (03/05/2012)(readMedia)-- Davis & Elkins College freshman softball player Autumn Appleby was named Pitcher of the Week on February 13 by the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. An elementary education major, Appleby is the daughter of Douglas and Candice Appleby of Greencastle, PA. The pitcher went 2-1 on the week and fanned 30 batters in just 21 innings of work helping the Senators open the 2012 season with four wins.
