BW's Cancian Named 2023 National Collegiate Rugby All-American for the Second Time

Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby Student-Athlete, Molly Cancian has been named a 2023 National Collegiate Rugby All-American making this her second All-American honor of her career. Cancian, a senior English major outside center stepped into the 8-man position for the Yellow Jackets when her coach needed her to shift for the team. Best known for her speed and agility, Cancian showed her defensive skills in tackling and rucking this past season.

National Collegiate Rugby made selections from a pool of 6,000 players and 240 clubs across the nation, to identify the top college rugby players representing 32 teams and 20 conferences for the honor of All-American. The three lists include 23-women teams from each Division. Cancian is among 23 Small College Division student-athletes selected to the All-American class of 2023 based on her performance in the Fall 2023 15's Season.
