Banners Awarded in Iowa State Fair Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/04/2012)(readMedia)-- McIlrath Club Lambs of Laurel was awarded top honors at the Wether Sire/Dam Sheep Show judged August 17 at the 2012 Iowa State Fair. The Laurel farm's ram was named Champion Ram prior to the Grand Champion honor.

The Champion Ewe exhibited by German-Oehlson Show Lambs of State Center captured the Reserve Grand Champion banner.

Reserve Champion Ram honors went to Amthauer Club Lambs of Beaman, while the Reserve Champion Ewe was exhibited by Stars and Stripes Livestock of Tipton.
