Bellevue native Dandi Huang selected for teaching fellowship in China

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Dandi Huang of Bellevue, Wash. was honored with a fellowship after her graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Huang was selected as an English instructor through the Whitman in China program, an exchange established in 1982 by Professor David Deal. With this fellowship, Huang has the opportunity to assist with English instruction in a Chinese university for one academic year.

Huang is a 2009 graduate of the International School. She received a B.A. in Biochemistry, Biophysics & Molecular Biology and minors in Chinese and music during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
