Bellingham Native Allison Work Attends Chicago Conference for Award Winning Newspaper

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/30/2012)(readMedia)-- Bellingham native Allison Work recently attended the 91st annual Associated Collegiate Press Conference in Chicago for her involvement with Whitman College's student-run newspaper, The Pioneer. Work is a news editor for the paper that won "Best of Show" at the national conference in November.

Work is the daughter of Erica and Steve Work from Bellingham. She is a 2011 graduate of Sehome High School.

At Whitman, Work is a sophomore, and she enjoys ultimate Frisbee and living in the French interest house.
