HARTSVILLE, SC (01/04/2012)(readMedia)-- Benny Webb, of Sumter, S.C., was recently honored during Coker College's Winter Commencement ceremony on December 16, 2011, with the Adjunct Professor of the Year Award. The award is voted on each year by students in Coker's Adult Learners Program for Higher Achievement (ALPHA) and is given to the most outstanding adjunct professor. Webb has been an adjunct professor at Coker since 2004.
Webb received his master's in public administration from Troy University in 1995 and his Executive Certificate in Negotiation from Notre Dame University. He is also a graduate of the FBI Command School and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Leadership School. He has received numerous awards, citations and commendations in the field of law enforcement and public service. He is married to Dr. Abigail Busby-Webb, and the two have three daughters.
