Berger Named USA South Pitcher Of The Week

The junior from Hillsborough, North Carolina tossed a complete game, seven-inning, shutout in his only appearance on the mound for the Pacers last week, a 22-0 win over USA South foe Mary Baldwin. Berger allowed three hits without a walk while striking out 13 batters.

Berger currently leads the USA South in strikeouts with a total of 54.

The Pacers will be back in action this weekend against Greensboro College, beginning with a 6 PM matchup on April 1st at the USA Baseball NTC.
