Berkshire Country Day School Board Names Three New Trustees

LENOX, MA (08/16/2012)(readMedia)-- Berkshire Country Day School, an independent school for students in preschool through ninth grade, is pleased to announce the election of three new members to its Board of Trustees:

B. Stephen Boyd is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Technologies in South Lee, MA. Boyd Technologies is an advanced materials company that provides customized manufacturing solutions, business services, and technology consulting to the health and medical, electrical, and consumer packaged goods markets. In addition to his experience at Boyd Technologies, Mr. Boyd has held management roles in sales, marketing, and operations.

Steve and his wife, Ellen, live in West Stockbridge, MA, with their two children who attend Berkshire Country Day School. Steve serves on BCD's Finance Committee and holds a B.A./B.S. in Sociology/Psychology with a concentration in writing from Middlebury College.

Ellen Perry is the founder and Managing Partner of Wealthbridge Partners LLC, a firm specializing in customized family consulting, educational design and implementation. Ms. Perry has spent 20 years serving as a strategic advisor for families of substantial wealth. She is a frequent speaker, author and advisor on the constructive, multi-generational management of family wealth. Ms. Perry has been interviewed by National Public Radio, MSNBC, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Financial Times, Worth Magazine and Fortune Magazine on a variety of topics including money and relationships, generational wealth transfer, and family transitions. Prior to forming Wealthbridge Partners, Ellen was the co-founder and CEO of Asset Management Advisors (now called GenSpring Family Offices), a multi-client family office, and Teton Trust Company, its affiliated private trust company. At AMA she was responsible for the overall management of the firm, client retention, development of the strategic vision and its implementation.

Ellen and her husband, Rob Stein, reside in Washington, D.C. with their daughter, Grace, who attended BCD through this past school year.

Alexis Watts is a Middle and Upper School English and Library teacher and sixth grade advisor at BCD. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing her Master's in Liberal Studies at Wesleyan University. Prior to teaching at BCD, Ms. Watts taught at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans. She resides in Sheffield, MA.

Officers of the Board at Berkshire Country Day School are Claire Pollart, President; Paige Orloff, Vice President; Christopher Ferrone, Treasurer; and Marianna Poutasse, Secretary.
