Berkshire Country Day School Theater Ensemble to Present Two One-Act Comedies

LENOX, MA (04/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Berkshire Country Day School's Upper School Theater Ensemble will present two one-act comedies at the Winthrop Theatre 45 West Street, Lenox on May 16 at 7 pm and May 17 at 2 pm and 7 pm.

The ensemble of nine grade 7 and grade 8 students will present "!Artistic Inspiration," the story of a scheme to create the most produceable play in America, written by Don Zolidis and "Apocalypse or Bust, " the story of four contentious personalities and their travels on doomsday, written by David Alianiello.

The plays are an opportunity for the young actors to perform outrageous satire, exploring stereotypes, and precise physical comedy. Directed by Amy Brentano, the evening runs about two hours in length.

There is a suggested donation at the door.
