Bethany DeMuynck received the Clinton D. Cook Award at the annual College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony on May 17, 2019.
This award is presented to a senior chemistry major for outstanding achievements in chemistry. As chair of the department, Professor Cook originated the Ph.D. program in chemistry in the mid-twentieth century. He later became Dean of the Graduate College and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
