CENTER VALLEY, PA (10/10/2012)(readMedia)-- On September 29, Bethlehem resident Brandon Pousley was awarded the DeSales University Young Alumni Achievement Award during the school's 2012 Homecoming Weekend.
The Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes alumni who graduated within the last 10 years and who have made notable accomplishments while maintaining a strong commitment to the University, family, community, and profession.
Since graduating from DeSales in 2010, Pousley has worked for eMediaWorks as an editor and producer of educational media, creating engaging video content for classrooms. He has received 3 Emmy Awards and 10 nominations in the Children's Media category as an editor. He is enrolled in the master's of education program at Harvard University, made possible in part by an Action in Children's Television Fellowship.
DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pa., is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1965, the 480-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles south of New York City.
