ALBANY, NY (07/01/2011)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie of Victory Christian Church and District Attorney David Soares in Association with Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings, Albany Park & Rec Commissioner John D'Antonio, Albany County Sheriffs Dept and the Albany Police Department are proud to present the "Enough" Anti-Violence 4th of July Extravaganza. The event will be held on Monday July 4th at Lower Lincoln Park in Albany from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
The day will be free to all and will include food, games, prizes and more. Trolley Id's will be handed out as well as Pony rides, face painting and bouncey bounces will be on hand. "This is a great event for the community to come together and help stop violence in our city, and what a day to celebrate anti-violence but on our nations birthday. We want the community to know that they can feel safe and have a good time in their neighborhoods," says Pastor Charlie.
Fireworks will begin at 9:15 with National recording artist Kevin Scott performing during the fireworks display.
