Biggest Ram 'Doc' Wins State Fair Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/09/2018) (readMedia)-- A Crossbred ram named Doc owned by Ron Willwerth of Webster City, Iowa tipped the scales at 457 pounds to win the Big Ram title at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

Second place was claimed by Jason Seelow of State Center, Iowa. Their Rambouillet ram named Mr. Ed weighed in at 390 pounds.

The 2018 Iowa State Fair Big Ram show had 12 entries.

The Big Ram, along with the Big Boar and Super Bull, will be on display at the Iowa State Fair in the Sheep, Swine and Cattle Barns, respectively, through August 19.
